Software is developed to solve business challenges. While technology providers have rallied to bring more efficiency to most areas of a business, via software, Accounts Payable (AP) processes have been highly ignored. Bottom line, most mid-size organizations pay their glut of invoices no different than they did 30 years ago. Lots of paper, a room full of people, manual opening and review of each envelope, the painstaking monotony of typing invoice data into accounting systems, and then chasing down Joe or Sue to approve payment (yuck). Yooz has applied the latest in innovative cloud technologies to tackle that age-old challenge and bring maximum financial and process efficiencies to our customer’s AP process.   • Your Mission

    You will be responsible for a range of administrative and financial operational tasks and activities.
    Collecting data and recording relevant financial transactions is part of your daily routine, together with other general administrative and office management tasks.
    You will maintain and develop effective administrative and processing routines in a growing organization and contribute to broader financial and administrative work.
    You will also maintain strong working relationships with other executives and personnel in Yooz teams worldwide.

  • Your Responsibilities
    • 60% of your time dedicated to monitoring sales administration
      • Bill clients, verify sales invoices, track payments, follow up with past due receivables, addressing miscellaneous clients’ questions and requests, maintain clean and accurate data, calculate monthly commissions to partners, etc.
    • 10% of your time dedicated to monitoring accounts payable
      • Receive and record suppliers’ invoices, process them through Yooz, process travel-and-expense reports, ensure compliance with internal rules, follow approval, and track payments
    • 10% of your time dedicated to payroll
      • Assist with calculating monthly staff’s commissions and bonuses
      • Assist with payroll’s control and preparation
    • 10% of your time dedicated to internal IT support on the Finance & Administration related applications
      • Be the US point of contact for requests and issues related to SalesForce (our CRM system), DocuSign (e-signature’s application), Amalia (commission system), our Yooz own instance, and all other less significant Finance-and-administration oriented internal tools
    • 10% of your time dedicated to miscellaneous missions
      • Assist with general office and administrative duties
      • Assist with annual financial audits
      • Contribute to miscellaneous projects: implementing the commission system, continue deploying DocuSign, improving our own internal Yooz instance, etc.
      • Use creativity to showcase best practices to the rest of the team
      • Lead by example, with nothing being too detailed or hands-off
  • Skills & Requirements
    • Good administrative and organizational skills, and ability to report and document, keeping documentation tidy and accessible
    • Ability to plan and organize tasks efficiently with a methodical and proactive approach to work
    • High level of attention to details and accuracy, comfortable with numbers and processes
    • Ability to work independently and ask for clarification when needed
    • Ability to work as part of a team and to communicate effectively with others (colleagues, clients, suppliers, partners, etc.) so as to provide and receive required information and data
    • Ability to work in a start-up mode, in a dynamic and fast-growing industry and in an international environment
    • Self-motivated, proactive, and innovative style
    • French proficiency is a plus
