Untold Studios picked Yooz to improve their processes following the implementation of Sage
Untold Studios is a full-service creative studio founded in 2018. Experts in originals, motion design, production, music and VFX, they have studios in London, Los Angeles, Toronto and Mumbai with approximately 300 employees.
In 2022, following the implementation of Sage Intacct and with invoices volume increasing, the finance team began exploring ways to enhance internal processes. Yooz emerged as the ideal solution, in terms of cost and functionalities.
How did Yooz contribute to the growth process of Untold Studios?
The team designed a new process from scratch around Yooz and everyone was onboard. This proactive approach ensured a smooth implementation and quick results. Two approval streams were established.
In the first, a producer or an operations manager submits a purchase request, which is then reviewed and approved by either their line manager or the project’s executive. The purchase order is then sent to the supplier who will raise their invoice including the purchase order number before sending it to their finance team and proceeding to payment.
The second stream, focused on the production side, involves routing incoming invoices to the appropriate producer for approval, ensuring they are correctly assigned to the relevant project.

Previously, invoice management at Untold Studios was entirely manual. The team would never have been able to keep pace with the company’s expansion. With Yooz, time spent on administrative tasks reduced significantly and the additional workload has been absorbed by the team without increasing headcount.
